Event management is the organisation of the entire process of an event project from conception through to production and evaluation.

This course will empower you with the skills and knowledge to succeed in event management in all areas. More and more people are discovering the benefit and rewards that comes from planning, preparing and producing conferences, workshops, exhibitions and functions. Not only is event management interesting ... it’s also fun. You get to use your creativity to bring together a group of people at a time, in a place, and for a purpose; with the aim of producing a memorable occasion that makes a difference to those involved.

Event Management is an emerging profession. The more organisations need to bring together people within their fields, across industries, and from their community the more events are needed—and you cannot have an event within someone to manage it. This is the event manager.

The ACQ Event Management Course will give you a comprehensive understanding of the the role of an event manager from administration to operations to marketing and risk management.

Given the diversity of events, an event manager could be responsible for producing anything from a customer relations function to a product expo. This is where it is important for the event manager to have good research skills a solid understanding of all the facets involved.

Coupled with this, an event manager needs to be able to schedule an event as a single occasion or in conjunction with other events. So planning skills, time management and evaluation are also important elements of learning.

This course suits anyone who has little or no experience in event management but wants to plan and produce:
