don't need any previous experience to undertake this course; however,
you will need to have the willingness to learn and the desire to succeed.

previous experience is required for the Freelance Journalism Course.
The prerequisite for the Advanced Freelance Journalism Course
is the successful completion of the Freelance Journalism Course;
or equivalent
- access
to a standard computer to write your stories
- as
little as an hour a week to learn
The
personal attributes you will need to have include:
- an
interest in journalism
- an
enjoyment of reading (a journalist needs to remain abreast of
current news topics)
- the
ability to speak clearly when interviewing
- a
reasonable command of written English
- basic
writing skills (a knowledge of spelling, punctuation and grammar)
- basic
word processing skills (able to type)
- a
willingness to learn and the desire to succeed
