Learning Method: Correspondence with online support

You don't need any previous experience to undertake the course; however, you will need to have a willingness to learn and the desire to succeed.

• no previous experience in magazine publishing is required; however, it isrecommended you have prior graphic design or desktop publishing skills to undertake this course.
• access to a standard computer with word processing or preferrably desktop publishing to layout your magazine
• as little as an hour a week to learn
  

The personal attributes you will need to have include:

• an interest in magazine or newsletter publishing
• an eye for layout or design
• a reasonable command of written English
• good computer literacy
• a willingness to learn and the desire to succeed
