You don't need any previous experience to undertake this course; however, you will need to have the willingness to learn and the desire to succeed.

  • a suitable environment to conduct training and assessment
  • a good command of written English
  • access to a standard computer with word processing and an Internet connection (dialup or broadband)
  • standard computer skills
  • as little as an hour a week to learn

The personal attributes you will need to have include:

  • an interest in the training and assessment industry
  • good communication skills
  • good organisational skills
  • strong personal presentation
  • enjoy working with people
  • a willingness to learn and the desire to succeed

TAA Upgrade from the BSZ

  • 18 years or over
  • a suitable environment to conduct training and assessment
  • a good command of written English
  • access to a standard computer with word processing and an Internet connection (dialup or broadband)
  • standard computer skills
  • you will be required to submit a certified copy of your BSZ qualification. If your qualification is over 2 years old you will need to submit evidence of how you have kept your skills current.

TAA SoA Partial Recognition

  • 18 years of age or over
  • no BSZ required
  • a suitable environment to conduct training and assessment
  • a good command of written English
  • access to a standard computer with word processing and an Internet connection (dialup or broadband)
  • standard computer skills

Workplace Assessor Course

  • 18 years of age or over
  • a suitable environment to conduct assessment
  • a good command of written English
  • access to a standard computer with word processing and an Internet connection (dialup or broadband)
  • standard computer skills

Recognition of Prior Learning: If you feel you may be able to gain credit exemptions for one or more modules, please contact the College for an initial discussion and RPL application. You will need to provide enough evidence to show that your knowledge/skills are current. Download initial RPL Guide.
