What could be more blissful than roaming
around Australiaor the worldwriting about your travel

The role of a travel
writer and photographer is an exciting one and lots of people do
it and earn a good income. Some people write about travel destinations
for travel magazines and brochures. Some write about hotels and
accommodation or guides. Others write about the food and restaurants,
even the nightlife in different countries. There is an absolutely
enormous market for travel related articles.
One of our students teaches
English overseas and writes about his experiences in between the
teaching assignments. Another student travels around Australia with
her husband and writes about her daily adventures, sending the stories
into a local paper. Another student travels from country to country
writing about places of historical significance. There are hundreds
of other ways you can use travel writing skills to see the world
and get paid.
For the most part, travel
reporting is relatively simple. You dont need to be a literary
or photographic genius. The main ingredient to being a successful
travel writer is to be able to make a story interesting.
This course will teach
you how to do this. Whats more, whether you are a person who
likes writing and wants to supplement your story with a photo, or
a person whose first love is photography, where the story is second
to the picture, you will find this Course beneficial.
This is an intensely
practical course. You will learn how to write travel articles while
on the go overseas, how to put together articles while trekking
around the countryside, and how to write destination pieces after
youve returned from holidays. Travel writing, ah ... this
is the life!
