Productivity
Places Program (PPP)
is the Australian Government's Skilling Australia for the Future
Initiative.
You
may be eligible for free training so you can undertake a Certificate
II or III or IV qualification, where you do not already have a nationally
accredited qualification.
What
is the Productivity Places Program?
- The
Productivity Places Program is a great way to improve your skills
so you can find employment.
- The
Program provides new training places in skills and occupations
employers are seeking and is designed to help you secure long
term employment.
- The
Program is part of the Australian Governments Skilling Australia
for the future initiative.
- The
training is delivered only by approved Registered Training Organisations.
- You
can gain a new qualification or upgrade an existing qualification.
What
must you have to apply for the Productivity Places Program?
- A
Centrelink Reference Number (CRN)
- A
Jobseeker ID Number (JSID)
- Active
registration with an Employment Service Provider (ESP)
- A
referral form from their Employment Service Provider, to be signed
by the ESP and the applicant.
- The
PPP enrolment form (Confirmation of Enrolment Form) including
the Statutory Declaration (from Australian College).
- Certified
copies of evidence of Australian Citizenship, Permanent Residence
or Humanitarian Refugee status (example Centrelink Statement).
Note:
Full-time students and people who are self employed are not eligible
for this program.
