Welcome to Cheryl’s fiscal world of finance!

Cheryl has over 20 years of industry experience working as a Bookkeeper, Assistant Accountant and Accountant; including eight years as a Senior Accountant for Franchisee Group of companies working in the Franchisor as well as two years in-house training experience for Franchisors training franchisees and employees. With this extensive portfolio of financial services experience she has certainly reached the pinnacle of the industry.

Cheryl has worked with small to medium-sized businesses and large corporate companies with debtors and stock exceeding $5,000,000. Some of the diverse industries include: Credit Unions, Publishers, the Food Industry, Distribution Centres, Wholesale Centres, Retail stores and Franchises.

“I have been very fortunate within my career working as an Accountant to gain a wide range of experience and knowledge,” says Cheryl. “My experience ranges from creating new businesses from scratch and seeing them prosper, to helping small businesses fine tune their company. In addition, I have worked in small, medium and large corporate businesses as both a team leader and team member.”

With such a diverse background Cheryl is well equipped to tutor students who are entering the financial services industry. Coupled with her range of experience she has also undertaken studies in Occupational Health and Safety, Time Management, Work Priorities and Management Skills.

In addition, Cheryl holds qualifications in Advanced Diploma of Accounting with Distinction and Certificate IV in Training and Assessment. She is also currently studying a Master of Professional Accounting through the University of New England.
