Welcome to Pams world of Professional Writing, Copy Editing and Proofreading! Pam has been working in writing, copy editing, proofreading and publishing for several years and now manages her own successful business Teddybear Books. Through the years, Pam has delivered writing workshops; taught proofreading and copy editing; produced a range of educational courses; had several stories, poems and articles published, and even published several childrens books. In addition, Pam has won several short story and poetry competitions. She is also the author of the Copy Editing & Proofreading Course for the College. Pams experience includes extensive proofreading and editing of educational curriculum manuscripts, writing and editing anthologies, educational readers, fiction manuscripts, business publications and newsletters. She has undertaken work for a number of publishing houses, writers groups, writing schools and Broadford Secondary College in Victoria. As well,
Pam produced, typeset and edited the publication Words for the Wallan
Writers Group, edited the publication Minds on the Move and managed and
edited the NMIT Poetry Anthology Night Lights. In 2005 Pam was admitted
to the World Vision Proofreading and Editing Register.
Pam remains at the forefront of the industry through her extensive network of contacts. She is a member of the Society of Editors (Victoria) Inc, the Fellowship of Australian Writers in Victoria, the Melbourne Poets Union, the Victorian Writers Centre and a number of other smaller writing organisations. Pam also holds a Diploma of Arts (Professional Writing and Editing). This is a terrific opportunity to have an experienced and well-regarded professional as your personal tutor.
