You don't need any previous experience to undertake the course; however, you will need to have a willingness to learn and the desire to succeed.

  • no previous experience is required
  • a reasonable command of written English
  • Microsoft Office software
  • access to the Internet for the online components of the course
  • you are provided with an MYOB Academic Software CD Pack
  • as little as an hour a week to learn

The computer requirements are:

  • operating system: Windows 2000, XP or Vista, Mac OS X 10.4 or later
  • memory: 200 MB of RAM

The personal attributes you will need to have include:

  • an interest in the financial industry/accounts
  • an aptitude for figures
  • basic computer literacy
  • organisation skills
  • a willingness to learn and the desire to succeed

Recognition of Prior Learning: If you feel you may be able to gain credit exemptions for one or more modules, please contact the College for an initial discussion and RPL application. You will need to provide enough evidence to show that your knowledge/skills are current.
