IATA Fares and Ticketing Course

To enrol in this course you will need to have:

  • some knowledge of the industry (specifically airline and city codes) as these are the heart of the course. These procedures are covered in the full courses travel consulting offered. Without this knowledge you will not be able to successfully completed this short course in Fares & Ticketing I & II.
  • a reasonable command of written English
  • basic mathematical skills
  • as little as an hour a week to learn

The personal attributes you will need to have include:

  • an interest in the travel industry
  • good communication skills
  • strong customer focus
  • good organisational skills
  • able to work in a team
  • strong personal presentation
  • enjoy working with people
  • a willingness to learn and the desire to succeed
