You don't need any previous experience to undertake the course; however, you will need to have a willingness to learn and the desire to succeed.

• no previous experience is required
• access to a standard computer with word processing, printer and Internet connection
• as little as an hour a week to learn
  

The personal attributes you will need to have include:

• an interest in film and any area of television
• a desire to produce and/or write television shows
• a desire to produce and/or write scripts or movies
• a reasonable command of written English
• an artistic/creative sense
• good communication skills
• able to remain calm under pressure
